The WESTONKA FOOD SHELF is run by the St. Vincent DePaul Society at OLL and is dedicated to feeding those in need. The PENNYWISE THRIFT SHOP is run by the ladies of our local division of the CCW. Administrative Assistant - Assist with administrative duties and needs at the Food Shelf.
Food Rescue Transporter - Go to local store to pick up food they are donating to the Food Shelf, load into your vehicle and bring it to the Food Shelf where you will have help unloading it.
Shelf Stocker - Unpack donated food from local stores, check expiration dates, freshness of produce, stock shelves, refigerators, freezers.
Patron Assistant - Serve patrons who visit the food shelf, weigh food, gather and bag items needed on their list.
Home Delivery - Provide delivery on an as needed basis to homebound patrons
Cleaning Assistant - Light cleaning to keep our new home beautiful
Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist - provide occasional support to patrons with special diet/needs
Pennywise Assistant - Unload/unpack and sort donated items, price items, assist patrons as needed, exchange money for purchased items, etc.
